Claiming Disability Living Allowance (DLA) or Personal Independence Payment (PIP) can be a confusing and time-consuming process—but the right support can make all the difference.
We now offer a dedicated DLA review and application support service, designed to help you feel confident that your child is receiving the right level of financial support for their needs.
DLA Application Support
Applying for Disability Living Allowance (DLA) can be a lengthy and detailed process, particularly when you're trying to explain how your child's needs differ from those of other children their age. We can support you through the application, helping you understand what information is needed and how to clearly describe your child's care, supervision and mobility needs.
PIP Application
If you or your young person are applying for Personal Independence Payment (PIP), we can provide guidance throughout the application process. We’ll help you understand the questions, identify the relevant information to include, and ensure the impact of your condition or disability on everyday life is clearly explained.
Blue Badge Application
We can provide support with Blue Badge applications, helping you understand the eligibility requirements and how to explain the difficulties and risks you or your child may experience when travelling or accessing the community. Our aim is to help you provide clear, relevant information that accurately reflects your circumstances.
Mandatory Reconsideration
If your DLA or PIP claim has been refused, or you disagree with a decision about your award, you may be able to request a Mandatory Reconsideration. We can help you understand the decision, identify areas that may need to be challenged, and provide guidance on the information and evidence you may wish to submit.
DLA, PIP & Blue Badge Appeals
If you have already challenged a decision and need to take your case further, we can provide guidance and support throughout the appeals process. We can help you understand what happens next, review the information you have available, and help you prepare for the next stage of your appeal.
Application Checking Service
If you would prefer to complete your own application but would like some reassurance before submitting it, our Application Checking Service could help. We can review your completed application, provide constructive feedback, highlight areas that may need more detail, and suggest ways to make your answers clearer and more relevant. The aim is to give you greater confidence before you submit your application.
