Looking to the future

Moving on from school to university or the workplace can be daunting and feels like a mammoth task somedays. Schools can identify young people who are at risk of becoming not employed, education or training (NEET). We can work with these young people and help them to overcome some of their challenges and where necessary signpost to relevant agencies.

We can help you by:

  • Finding relevant universities who offer support.
  • Work with the young person on identifying areas that they find difficult and work on ways to overcome these challenges.
  • Support the school in working closely with the young person to understand what is likely to be required of them in the workplace (interview techniques, dress code, time keeping, transport routes etc).
  • Work with the employer to assist in a smooth transition and adaptations to the workplace. See workplace advice.
